Help My WP takes contributions from developers who have actually solved the problem they are writing about.

What gets published

  • A specific problem with a specific fix, not a survey of a topic
  • Written from real work, including the parts that went wrong
  • Code that runs, tested on a current WordPress version
  • A plugin recommendation only where a plugin is genuinely the right answer

What does not

  • Anything written to place a link. This is the most common submission and it is always declined.
  • Rewrites of documentation or of posts already ranking for the term
  • Unedited AI output. Use the tools if they help you draft, but the finished piece has to be yours and it has to be correct.
  • Roundups of “the 15 best” anything

How to pitch

Send the problem, your proposed fix, and one thing you have already published, through the contact page. A two-line pitch is fine. Please do not send a finished draft before we have agreed the topic.

Accepted posts get a byline and a link to your site or profile. There is no payment.
